Okay, you just did a Biosigature assessment at Laylor Performance Systems and were told that if you don’t get your ass in gear you will eventually be diagnosed with type II diabetes! Playtime is over and you have to focus… After eating like crap for the last ten years and putting on 50lbs, you have now made it your goal (from fear of having a limb chopped off due to diabetes) to lose this weight!

Well your trainer tells you that you have to eat more protein, and lots of it. But lets start with protein for breakfast! Yes that’s right, he’s talking about meat and nuts for breakfast…. You can’t imagine it, there has to be something wrong with what he is telling you or maybe you just didn’t hear him correctly. You cannot imagine the thought of eating protein in the morning…

Listen; if you want to lose the weight, you have to start where it counts and that’s meat for breakfast!

This is because protein contains the building blocks of all foodstuffs. It will increase your metabolism, stabilize your blood sugar levels throughout the day and enhance your immune system. You will be more mentally alert and focused throughout the day and, most importantly, you will drop fat and build muscle!!! So, if while you are ripping into a hamburger patty followed by a handful of walnuts at your desk in the AM and your co-workers are looking at you in disgust and/or disbelief, remember what those people look like now. Take my word for it, in the next 2-3years, those toast munching, cereal crunching, pancake eaters will be at least 30 to 60lbs fatter!
