Wayne Moore is a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Certified Athlete Activation System Coach (AASc), and former professional CFL running back and team captain.
Moore’s athletic career provides a foundation of elite performance and competitive resilience. Drafted 11th overall in the 2016 CFL Draft, he competed for four seasons with the McMaster Marauders football program before playing for the Montreal Alouettes, Ottawa Redblacks, and primarily with the BC Lions, where he demonstrated versatility as a running back and key special teams contributor. This professional sports background grounds his coaching in real-world application and the mental discipline required to sustain performance at the highest level.
A McMaster University alumnus with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Moore couples his high-performance background with a deep, holistic understanding of athlete development. He has cultivated his coaching expertise through over a decade of training at LPS Athletic, where he gained an intimate command of the organization’s systems, standards, and performance culture.
As a ‘left brain, right brain enthusiast,’ Moore’s coaching philosophy is a fusion of technical knowledge and creative problem-solving, rooted in the core values of effort, consistency, and resilience. He emphasizes a comprehensive approach that focuses not only on physical preparation but also on cultivating the mental discipline and creative balance necessary for optimal human performance. His mission is to guide athletes through their day-to-day process, empowering them to train with intent, build confidence in their movement, and develop sustainable habits that yield success both in and beyond the gym.
