Ian Warner Sr, AAS, PTS, RPR Level 2
As a former football, track, and bodybuilding athlete, Ian turned his love of sport into a successful coaching career. His early experience involved coaching football at the high school and club levels. Over 30 years in, Ian can apply coaching principles and his philosophy to guiding athletes from various backgrounds, focusing on speed and power sports, using what he has learned from mentors in the Track and field space.
Over the years, Ian has held several coaching positions. Most notably, he has been a strength coach service provider for the Canadian Sports Institutes of Ontario for the National Track Group and Gymnastics Canada (Trampoline). These assignments have allowed him to reap the benefits of structured testing and application and experiment with different modalities to make incremental improvements in athletes.
Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of training athletes in the CIS, NCAA, NHL, OHL, CFL, NFL, Bobsleigh, Combine Prep, and Gymnastics. In addition, as a Performance Coach, Ian has helped Integrated Support Teams (ISTs) prepare athletes to qualify for and contest National and International competitions.
As a lifelong learner, Ian stays current by attending conferences, mentorships, and continuing education annually.
