His academic background is in clinical research co-ordination. His joy for high performance athletics and strength training has always been a critical component of his lifestyle and he is a strong advocate for communicating the value of professional strength training and exercise literacy across exercise science professions.
His coaching philosophy focuses on developing not just an athlete’s physical strength, mobility, speed, explosiveness and resilience for their chosen sport, but in teaching athletes how true professional strength training benefits them. Being mentally relentless in your respective sport is key as well as outside of it. The nature of sport is fast paced, dynamic and continuous. Therefore, the discipline with which you approach sport can be so valuable in determining your approach to life.
