Al Deep Squats

At sixty-one “years young”, Al Guarino squats.

Let me re-phrase that – Al deep squats, and I mean to rock bottom, 180lbs for four reps.

As you can see, Al brings us the concept of “use it or lose it”.

Simply by loading and doing movement to a full range of motion, you increase mobility, flexibility, and dexterity in your joints.

It’s like lubricating a rusty joint – you put a little oil on it work the joint a tiny bit, a little every session, and week by week we add a little more oil and increase the range of motion.

We do this until the joint is working through the full range, and your body feels brand new again, and prepared to deal with the unexpected things that life throws at you, from slipping on some black ice and being able to break your fall with a powerful step, to bending down low to play back catcher with your grandson.

Whatever it may be, being healthy, strong, and mobile better prepares you for life.
