01 | PREPARATIONS BEFORE & AFTER ARRIVING AT LPS

Arrival Time – Plan to arrive up to 10 minutes before your scheduled time. If you arrive before that, please kindly wait in your vehicle while we clear and clean up the facility between sessions.

Parking – You may park in the spots in front of the gym, or in the entire row across from the gym.  Please do not park in the spots directly in front of any of our neighbors.  People have had their vehicle scratched before because they move heavy large objects in and out of their facilities.

Gym Access – If you are on our unlimited gym access plan and training in the open gym hours, make sure to lock doors behind you after entering & exiting the facility using the App.

Indoor Shoes – Bring a pair of indoor gym shoes and change into them when you arrive into the facility. No wet shoes or outside shoes will be allowed to enter the gym floor.

Filled Water Bottle – Fill and bring a water bottle with you. We have a water refilling station.  Remember to take your water bottle with you upon leaving as left over bottles will be tossed out.

Shower Towel – While shower facilities are currently banned due to Ontario COVID-19 restrictions, when we’re allowed to open it up again, you may use it with your own towel.  If you need to clean yourself afterwards, we recommend trying ShowerPill’s Athletic Body Wipes.

02 | YOUR MINDSET, INTENT & RESPECT

You now belong to a community of athletes and leaders that are highly competitive, hard working, and all fighting for a dream.

We believe the fastest way to get results is to surround yourself with others who are pushing just as hard, if not harder than you.  So cheer your family on when they are going for a max, grinding out their session, as they will do the same for you.

We do not care how talented or gifted someone is.  We do not care how much or little money you earn. Respect is ONLY given to those who put in the work.

Come prepared to focus on training. Every session is designed to get you to your goals, so don’t waste your time and money. We all have 24 hours in a day, so it’s up to you to outwork your competitors each and every day, and we’ll be right here to support you in your growth in every way possible.

03 | ENTERING THE GYM & GETTING READY

Smile, You’re On Camera – For the protection of our members and staff, the facility indoor and outdoors are under recorded video surveillance 24/7 in case we need to review any issues and/or incidents.

Sanitize Your Hands – We have hand sanitizers available for you to clean your hands upon entering and exiting the facility right in the front entrance.

Change Stalls and Lockers – Maximum of 3 people inside the changing area at any given time. Feel free to bring a lock and use one of our lockers provided.

Face Masks and Shields – These are optional. We understand how difficult it may be to train using a face mask or face shield, but if you happen to sneeze or cough into your hands, please kindly use the bathroom to wash your hands with soap.

04 | COMMITMENT TO CLEANLINESS

Upon entering the gym floor, you will be provided your own personal disinfectant cleaning bottle so you can clean each equipment / station before and after.  Please keep this bottle close to you at all times. It is your responsibility to clean the outside of the bottle with soap, and place it back in the bin after your session is over.

Keep the bathroom clean and tidy.  If you created an accident, please clean it.

While we do have frequent scheduled cleaning protocols by our team using top-grade commercial disinfectant proven to kill viruses such as COVID-19 and more… it will make the gym a much safer place for all if everyone commits to cleanliness.

The safety of our members, and our team is our top priority.

05 | GYM ETIQUETTE & EQUIPMENT CARE

Distance Fist Bumps – Please do your best to stay at least 6 ft away from other members, and avoid handshakes, fist bumps, pats on the back, or hugs, as tempting as it may be.  Cheer for them, acknowledge them verbally, not physically.

Barbells – Never kick (or using your feet to move) or drop the barbell on purpose. Using our brush, brush the chalk off the bar after you are done. Do not spray cleaning disinfectants directly onto the bar.  Instead, spray it onto a paper towel or cleaning cloth first, then use that to wipe the bar.

Dumbbells – Our specialty dumbbells are five (5) times the cost of regular dumbbells you may see at a regular gym.  Please do not drop them from high up as it can break the bearings. There is a technique to unload them properly, so that they can be placed on a surface gently under control.  Please ask a team member to show you if you are unsure how.

Return Weight to Original Spots – Each weight is clearly labelled and store in a specific location in the gym.  Please return it to where you found it, and/or where it may fit best.  If you are unsure of where the weights go, please ask a team member.

Use of Chalk – Chalk is often use for individuals who want to maximize their grip when their hands get sweaty.  We recommend you purchasing your own bottle of liquid chalk should you need it.

Be Aware of Surroundings – Keep your head up and be aware of what’s going on around you.  Someone could be maxing on their lifts, sprinting on the track, throwing a heavy medicine ball.  By being aware, you will reduce the chances of accidents.

Do Not Max Without a Coach – When going for maximum effort lifts, always make sure a coach acknowledges before you do so to either spot, observe the velocity, and/or control the environment around you.
