STEP 1/3: DOWNLOAD & INSTALL AUGUST
When setting up the August App, the security of our users is very important to us. For this reason, during the signup, you’ll go through a few extra steps that help to make your account as secure as possible (creating a strong password, verifying a unique phone number and a unique email address for each account), and to help users identify each other easily when sending and receiving invites (entering your first and last name, uploading a profile photo).
STEP 2/3: ACCOUNT CREATION
When you open the August App, if you don’t have an account already, follow these steps:
- Choose the blue button that says I RECEIVED AN INVITE.
- Create An Account
- Please enter your full name, a phone number associated with the phone you want to unlock/lock the gym, e-mail address, and a picture of yourself.
- You will be asked to verify your phone as a SMS message containing a verification code will be sent to your phone.
- You will be asked to verify your email as an e-mail containing a verification code will be sent to your e-mail.
Once you have completed setting up your account, please send an e-mail to [email protected] with your phone number and our administrators will grant you access within 24 hours.
STEP 3/3: LOCK & UNLOCK ACCESS
Once our administrators have added your access, you should be able to see LPS Athletic Centre inside the August App under Home / Keychains.
With Bluetooth turned ON, you may click on the Lock/Unlock icon to access the lock within 8 feet of the door. Please allow 5 seconds for it to unlock/lock before pulling on the door.
When accessing the gym during non-coaching hours, always lock the door behind you after you enter and exit the facility.
Damaged & Lost Equipement – The gym has a cloud door activity log & 24/7 video surveillance. Any items damaged without immediately reporting to the LPS team is considered a crime. LPS will be report crime to local authorities & access completely revoked without refund.
Cleaning & Sanitizing Protocol – Any member not following cleaning & sanitizing protocols will immediately lose access without refund.
